Kayla Rae- Lead Vocals

Kayla Rae is our beautiful and talented front woman who keeps the crowd entertained all night long. Her bubbly personality always keeps the band on an even keel and the crowd wanting more. She knows how to have fun and loves music. We see a big future with Kayla and we are happy to have her as a fundamental part of Roadhouse 6. Here are a few tidbits about Kayla Rae:

Where are you from and what city do you currently live in? 
Coon Rapids 

Who are your biggest musical influences?  
So many but to name a few: Stevie Nicks, Cher, Miranda Lambert, Jennifer Nettles, Reba McEntire, Martina McBride, Brandy Clark, Kasey Musgraves, Janis Joplin 

Favorite song to play live? 
"Drift Away" by Dobie Gray. I love the way it connects with the crowd and to watch folks sing along and really get into - that's why I love playing music in general.  

What do you like to do outside of being in the band? 
Is relaxing a hobby? If so, that would be mine. Whether it is lounging on the couch in PJ's and catching up on some Real Housewives of whatever town or cruising on the lake with friends and family, you can count me in! 

Whats on your bucket list to achieve within the band? 
One day I want to write and perform an original song.  

Favorite venue to play shows thus far? 
ALL OF THEM! :)  

If you could open for any touring artist who would it be? 
Miranda Lambert in a heartbeat!!! 

If you could play a song with anyone dead or alive who would it be and what song? 
Honestly, I would love to perform any song with Brandy Clark.

Andy Distel- Lead Guitar

Andy Distel is one of the most talented guitarists in the Twin Cities. He has an ear for music. The guy can pretty much learn any song, transpose it, and teach it to the rest of the band in a matter of minutes. He is a family man. With a beautiful wife and a one year old he is one busy guy. We are fortunate that he still takes time out of his busy schedule for Roadhouse 6

From MPLS MN, and now live in New Hope MN. 

If you ask all my friends from high school they would say METALLICA, and yes that is very correct. I like any music the has any cool guitar riffs and the have to have face melting solos. Can't say I have a favorite artist that I like, everyone brings different styles. B.B. King, Jimi Page, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Mark Knopfler, David Gilmour, John Petrucci, Brad Paisley. Pretty much all the greats. 

I would say My Kinda Party. That song just shreds. 

Working on cars, riding my motorcycle and most of all, spending time with my little girl. love you Frankie! 

Making it big! It is a big goal but we are taking it one gig at a time and having fun. 

I like all the venues we play at. Each place has its own unique atmosphere. 

I would say Metallica, but has to be at aEuropean rock festival. Those look like an awesome time. 

Joe Satriani, he is a well balanced musician and he is a guitar teacher for a lot of other popular guitarist.
